摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 本唱片收錄的仕女音樂，是專給名門閨秀演唱的。全部以典雅的古英語演唱，作曲者是男性，免不了有一些「窠臼」。內容大致可分三類：一是有宗教意味的，二是憂鬱感傷的，三是輕鬆開懷的。聽起來都清幽悅耳，沒有浪漫誇張的表情變化，音域也可說相當窄，令人覺得詳和忘憂。女高音柯克比可說是英國古曲的專家，她在《彌賽亞》中的表現也令人驚為天籟。 音色透明清澈，不像花腔女高音那種濃稠帶香水味，咬字與長音尾韻堪稱一絕。錄音是笛卡公司的一貫高水準，當發燒片來聽也未嘗不可。（楊忠衡）
