摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : Sandor Lakatos被譽為是吉普賽的海費茲與帕加尼尼，可以想見他的技巧如何。他一九二四年誕生於布達佩斯，十四歲起就在他父親的樂團中擔綱演出，十八歲任首席之職，曾贏取眾多的獎項，是唯一獲得李斯特獎的吉普賽音樂家。一九五八年布魯塞爾世界博覽會時，他在匈牙利飯店演出，許多人因為口耳相傳，競相一聆天籟，造成大排長龍的盛況。本輯是Lakatos的精選樂曲輯，總共收錄了二十三首樂曲。其中包含了小提琴名曲《威尼斯狂歡節》和帕加尼尼第二十四首小提琴隨想曲，另外有多首Lakatos自己創作的樂曲。全輯有濃厚絢麗炫耀技巧的企圖，熱鬧花俏卻也不失典雅，可以說「臭屁」得並不過火，仍讓人有「享受」的感覺。值得一探。(李俊昌)
