本輯是對大提琴家托泰里耶的緬懷，2014年3月21日是這位法國音樂大師的百歲冥誕（1914-1990）。
DVD分成兩部份，第一部份是紀錄片，內容包括他的教學、音樂觀、家庭生活、作曲家身份等。
第二部份則是1988、1989年托泰里耶在瑞士演出的實況，曲目包括C.P.E.巴哈、艾爾加、德弗札克的協奏曲，以及柴可夫斯基「洛可可變奏曲」。安可曲則是托泰里耶自己的作品「我的馬戲團」。
