這是2005年7月17日，當今古典樂界擁有最高銷售紀錄的小提琴家甘乃迪，前往法國卡克松（Carcassonne）舉行他30年來第二次的古典音樂會的現場錄影。當今的古典樂手，沒有人像甘乃迪一樣，擁有流行樂手的親切、熱情、卻又兼有頂尖音樂家的素養，兼且具有創造性，讓他所演奏的音樂總是跳脫傳統的包伏，讓人有醍醐灌頂的新意，卻又不覺得是在搞怪、標新立異。
