本片一出聲的錄音的效果及詮釋音響真是發燒天碟參考水準，低弦沉穩而厚實，真是要得！
彼耶特Pieter Wispelwey，大提琴演奏家，從小在荷蘭與多位大師習音樂，並曾到美國習樂，他的特別是能拉奏古巴洛克大提琴及現代的大提琴二種樂器，他的拉奏音樂感極佳，音樂性十足，又有音響性高超技巧，拉奏的曲目包括由巴洛克時期到現代曲，他曾得過伊利沙白大獎及1985和1992年荷蘭音樂大獎，他的無伴奏大提琴的巴赫及貝多芬大提琴及布拉姆斯等都有獨特的拉奏成熟詮釋。
本片是法蘭克的小提琴曲以大提琴拉奏，另加布拉姆斯的大提琴奏鳴曲及舒曼的慢版，彼耶特的拉奏可說是優秀得不得了，加上由著名的鋼琴家P.Giacoetti的伴奏，又是以最新的SACD多軌錄音，直達發燒級的參考片！
