大師親自指揮羅馬交響樂團與百人合唱團在2007年9月11日在義大利威尼斯聖馬可廣場的演奏實況，也是近年巡迴最精采的一場。全片以組曲的形式呈現，9月11日是象徵和平的日子，威尼斯與威尼斯賭場邀請大師一同為和平作見證。
要說莫利科奈是全球影壇配樂教父、義大利音樂國寶，相信無人會發出異議。縱橫影壇逾40載的配樂大師，創作了400部以上的電視、電影音樂，每一部作品都是親自擔任作曲、編曲、管弦樂編曲及指揮的工作，為了津津樂道的有數十部之多。莫利科奈贏得無數的榮耀，這其中包括了威尼斯影展、洛杉磯影評人學會、2007奧斯卡頒發的終身成就獎，還有6座義大利電影獎、5座英國影藝學院獎、2座金球獎、1座葛萊美獎。他以音繪影，完美捕捉影像剎那的永恆、每一樂段均滿載動人情感，讓電影頓然鮮活起來。少了大師，影壇經典電影不知要失色多少。
