摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 約翰•威廉士的音樂當然不乏優美的旋律和懾人的大場景描寫，可是這還不夠，康澤爾很無情地在片中加進了恐龍撼地的腳步聲和吼聲，還在封底裡警告大家小心慶壞喇叭。說無情是因為，當「侏儸紀」一片上映時，其實不只康澤爾相中了其中電影音樂的市場，有許多專營電影配樂的公司也早已準備好它們的改編版本，可是一聽到康澤爾的片子，大家連忙把自己的片子收回，可見此片之震撼。（羅門）
