摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 一九五六年三月十五日，本劇在紐約首演，同年三月二十四日在紐約第三十街的CBS錄音室中完成這張在《窈窕淑女）表演歷史中十分重要的錄音。飾演窈窕淑女的自然是最受大家喜愛的茱莉•安德魯絲。她的聲音表情自然生動，最佳女主角的人選自然不做第二人想。專輯雖然是單聲道錄音，但聲音品質極佳。由於是舞台劇初演的精英原班人馬參加錄音，不但唱作俱佳，且極為耐聽。（黃莉雅）
