摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 《如何不勞而獲》音樂劇改編自小說，講的是一個洗窗工人靠著一本「成功密笈」，糊里糊塗當上大公司董事會主席的經過。除了音樂劇中必有的愛情故事之外，活潑逗趣的對白與輕快的旋律讓人印象深刻。作者群是創作《Guys and Dolls》等經典名劇的「黃金陣容」；本輯中擔網主角的馬修•柏德利。他原先朝大銀幕發展，也演過像《光榮戰役》這種質還不錯的大戲；卻不知怎的總沒能穩穩登上好萊塢「一線演員」。近來他朝舞台發展，片中他的演唱聽來還真有「兩把刷子」，特別為對他記憶猶新的影迷推薦。（張智鵬）
