摘自 博客來音樂館 網站 : 2015年九月，根據電影改編的音樂劇《艾蜜莉的異想世界》在加州柏克萊劇場首演。2001年，法國浪漫喜劇電影《艾蜜莉的異想世界》以奇幻的風格深受全球影迷喜愛而且獲得極好的評價。女主角艾蜜莉是個沒有享受過家庭的溫暖的女孩，只能沉溺在自己的幻想世界，透過天馬行空的想像力來找尋屬於自己的快樂。最後，她為自己找到了白馬王子尼諾。2015年九月，根據電影改編的音樂劇《艾蜜莉的異想世界》在加州柏克萊劇場首演。這部作品是劇作家克雷格‧盧卡斯編寫劇本，搖滾樂團「摺邊」主唱丹尼爾‧梅西創作音樂，並與百老匯作詞家納堂‧泰森一同譜寫歌詞。首演後緊接著又在洛杉磯與紐約百老匯的沃爾特克爾劇院上演。丹尼爾‧梅西與納堂‧泰森的音樂與歌詞，帶有深情與超乎想像的獨立風格，讓全劇從頭到尾充滿溫暖的氣氛。
