摘自 新紀元 網站 : 美國神韻藝術團自2006年創立以來，現場伴奏樂團一直是其重要的組成部分。隨著藝術團的世界巡演，每一首根植於五千年文明的原創樂曲，讓中國古典舞發揮更大穿越心靈的力量，他們充分發揮了淨化與療癒的深刻影響力。應神韻粉絲的強烈要求，希望可以通過音樂會的形式欣賞神韻音樂，於是神韻交響樂團於2012年正式成立。
2012年10月28日，紐約市政府上午雖已發出超級颶風預報，然而當天神韻交響樂團在卡內基音樂廳首演時，竟有二千多紐約觀眾無畏颶風通報前往聆賞，演出結束時全場起立，鼓掌長達三分鐘。
2017年9月神韻交響樂團第二度來臺演出15場，有近2萬名觀眾現場觀賞，特有的「安可現象」從第一場音樂會竟無間斷持續延燒到最後一場，為了再聽一首安可曲，邊拍手邊流眼淚，「安可」喊到喉嚨沙啞，古典樂迷的熱情空前。
