Using archival footage from the 30's and 40's, and interviews with many of her students, this film traces the career of Hanya Holm, dancer-choreographer, from the 20's through the Broadway stage. H.Holm 於1920年代由德國進入紐約百老匯,是現代舞先軀之一.1950-1960年代為百老匯編舞,本片內容於1985年贏得紐約舞蹈影片大獎.
