摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 一九七八年，Telarc有意與芬奈爾及克利夫蘭管弦樂團的管樂和打擊組合作錄製管樂團的音樂。當時數位式的錄音技術剛剛發明，這次的錄音可說是美國第一次用新技術錄製大樂團的唱片。在沒有真正的練習的情況下，這些演奏家奏出極高的水準，而新的錄音不只讓芬奈爾大為震撼，在市場上也獲得很好的評價，這張錄音曲目至今還鮮有匹敵。(許雙亮)
