1986年，由莎拉布萊曼(Sarah Brightman)與麥可克勞福(Michael Crawford)領銜主演的「歌劇魅影」在倫敦首演，至今已有超過1億觀眾觀賞，票房收入更高達50億美金，締造了娛樂史上最成功的藝術創作，也是百老 匯最長壽的音樂劇。「歌劇魅影」共改編成15國語言，在超過25國家，149個城市公演，累積拿下包括東尼獎在內的50多座大小獎項，原聲帶銷售超過4千 萬張，高居全球唱片銷售總排名第8位。根據音樂劇拍攝而成的電影在2004年登上大銀幕，也創下1億5千萬美金的票房。
【LOVE NEVER DIES】這部作品整整孕育了二十年，故事從魅影神秘消失的十年後揭開序幕。他選擇在大西洋對岸紐約的科尼島(Coney Island)落腳，讓洋溢著歡笑的遊樂場抹上了鬼魅的陰影。克莉絲汀在不知情的狀況下受邀至科尼島演出，當她與丈夫勞爾及兒子古斯塔來到紐約後，才發現 誘使她來到科尼島的匿名經理的真實身份…。其實韋伯早在1990年就有了續集故事的靈感，他在看過一部關於科尼島的紀錄片之後，覺得這個帶有奇幻氛圍的地 點應該是魅影隱身的好地方。直到2006年，韋伯再度與多位劇作家與導演討論故事的可能性，而故事大綱則在2007年秋季大致底定，費時兩年多才完成。 【LOVE NEVER DIES】延續了「歌劇魅影」中的主要角色，僅增加了克莉絲汀的兒子古斯塔這位新成員。其中飾演魅影的雷明卡林魯(Ramin Karimloo)，和飾演克莉絲汀的席亞拉波格絲(Sierra Boggess)，是韋伯萬中選一的完美卡司，將賦予劇中主角新的火花。
從克莉絲汀歌頌愛情的主題曲"Love Never Dies"，到魅影對舊愛的偏執“’Till I Hear You Sing”，以及真情流露的合唱曲"Look With Your Heart"和動人的對唱情歌"Once Upon Another Time"，【LOVE NEVER DIES】原聲帶不但充分展現了韋伯爐火純青音樂功力也突顯了戲劇張力，音樂和回憶宛如雲霄飛車般轉折起伏的劇情，魅影要向世人證明【LOVE NEVER DIES】。

安德烈洛依韋伯的音樂劇作品包括【The Likes of Us像我們這樣的人】、【Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat約瑟夫與奇異的夢幻彩衣】、【Jesus Christ Superstar萬世巨星】、【By Jeeves萬能管家】、【Evita艾薇塔】、【Variation】及【Tell Me On A Sunday】，還有【Song & Dance歌與舞】、【Cats貓】、【Starlight Express星光列車】、【The Phantom of the Opera歌劇魅影】、【Aspects of Love愛的觀點】、【Sunset Boulevard日落大道】、【Whistle Down the Wind微風輕哨】、【The Beautiful Game美麗遊戲】及【The Woman in White白衣女郎】等經典名作。他也曾為電影【Gumshoe】及【The Odessa File奧迪沙秘密檔案】譜寫配樂。並且獲邀為1992年巴塞隆納奧運及1998年Nagano冬季奧運創作主題曲。他在拉丁安魂彌撒鉅作 【Requiem安魂曲】中，收錄了他廣為人知的新版「Pie Jesu求主垂憐曲」，他並以此作獲選葛萊美最佳當代古典作曲。
2004年，他親身監製電影版本的【The Phantom of Opera歌劇魅影】，並找來喬舒馬赫擔綱導演；2006年，他帶著全新版本的【Phantom–The Las Vegas Spectacular】音樂劇，到拉斯維加斯登台。同年，他更與BBC合作、首創音樂劇電視選秀風潮，並以此節目【How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?】贏得艾美獎。同時，他複製成功模式，以【Any Dream Will Do】為【Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat約瑟夫與奇異的夢幻彩衣】徵選主角。在2008年，他再度為BBC的【Oliver! 孤雛淚】選角。而預計在2010年，他們將再度攜手合作，為【The Wizard of Oz綠野仙蹤】徵選女主角Dorothy及小狗Toto的角色。
他生平共獲得七座東尼獎、三座葛萊美、七座奧力佛獎、一座金球獎、一座奧斯卡、兩座國際艾美獎、高松宮殿下紀念世界文化賞、理查羅傑斯的音樂劇院終身成就獎，以及甘迺迪中心獎章Kennedy Center Honor。
他在1992年受封為騎士，並且在1997年獲得個人榮譽爵位。

The "LOVE NEVER DIES" album was completed in September 2009 and will be released in Australia on Friday March 12, 2010, three days after the World Premiere in London. "LOVE NEVER DIES" continues the story of 'The Phantom', who has moved from his lair in the Paris Opera House to haunt the fairgrounds of Coney Island, far across the Atlantic. Set 10 years after the mysterious disappearance of 'The Phantom' from Paris, this show is a rollercoaster ride of obsession and intrigue in which music and memory can play cruel tricks, and 'The Phantom' sets out to prove that, indeed, "LOVE NEVER DIES."
