德慕斯Jorg Demus，奧國鋼琴家，1928年出生在維也納國立音樂院與費夏（.FISCHER）學鋼琴，隨克利普斯（JOSEF KRIPS）學指揮後，又在紀瑟金（W.GIESEKING）的專修班與巴黎奈特（YVES NAT）的門下繼續深造。其後在師事米開蘭傑利（MICHELANGELI）與坎普夫（KEMPFF），1953年於維也納登臺首演，成為二次大戰後奧地利代表性的知名鋼琴家。奏上以巴赫及維也納古典派的作品見稱，特別是用作品誕生時的古樂器演奏聞名。曾與巴杜拉-史柯達共著（貝多芬鋼琴奏鳴曲Die Klaviersonaten Ludwing van Beethovens）一書。另外也曾著手作曲，並以維也納原版樂譜的校定者聞名。
