摘自 佳佳唱片 網站 - 加德斯是活躍於1970到1990年代的傳奇西班牙佛朗明哥舞者與編舞家。在西班牙文化部的支持下，他在1978年主持成立西班牙國家芭蕾舞團並且擔任總監，致力於保存和宣揚西班牙舞蹈遺產。在加德斯的努力下，佛朗明哥順利走出酒吧，登上全球各大表演舞台。這一套專輯共有三張，完整收錄加德斯舞團於2011年五月在馬德里皇家劇院演出《卡門》、《血婚》、《羊泉》與《佛朗明哥組曲》的實況。《卡門》根據梅里美著名小說編劇，藉由女主角卡門的個性與經歷，展現出傳統西班牙佛朗明哥的爆發力與張力，還有激情、世俗愛與恨。《血婚》根據西班牙詩人羅卡的劇作編舞，以故事帶出佛朗明哥的線條之美。故事描寫一個與有婦之夫相戀，卻必須與他人結婚的新娘，在新婚之夜與情人私奔。情人的妻子揭發了一切，憤怒的新郎則追擋下出逃的兩人。最後兩個人雙雙死在決鬥下，只剩下新寡的新娘，悲傷地撫摸白紗上的鮮血。《佛朗明哥組曲》以七首傳統佛朗明哥舞蹈表現加德斯對於佛朗明哥美學的看法。《羊泉》根據維加1619年的經典劇作改編。內容講述一名領主因為暴虐好色的行為深受百姓仇視，尤其是羊泉村的村民，終至忍不住殺了領主，以農具為自己爭取自由。
