摘自 佳佳唱片 網站 : 電影配樂大師顏尼歐‧莫利克奈（Ennio Morricone）從開始擔任音樂作曲與指揮工作，一甲子的的音樂生涯，累計創作500部以上的電影與電視音樂作品，其中包含鋼琴交響樂、協奏曲、合唱曲、歌劇等在內的上百部音樂作品。莫利克奈是史上「唯二」獲得表彰終身成就貢獻的奧斯卡榮譽獎的電影音樂作曲家。2015年，莫利克奈以電影「八惡人」在奧斯卡頒獎典禮上榮獲最佳原創音樂的成就，證明了莫利克奈對於音樂的熱情與才華，絕對經得起時間考驗。1964年，「荒野大鏢客」的製片公司Jolly Films說服義大利導演塞吉奧‧里昂尼(Sergio Leone)邀請當時剛做過幾部義大利西部片的莫利克奈擔任音樂創作，製片公司的這個決定改變了莫利克奈的一生。透過創意無限，卻又風格明顯；形式多變，卻又能緊密結合電影情節的高度作曲技巧，多年來不但深受無數影迷與樂迷愛戴，也是古典、跨界藝人（如大提琴家馬友友、跨界歌手海莉）最喜歡合作的配樂作曲家。
