摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 懷爾德可稱得上是本世紀碩果僅存的大師。在本片中他不但親身參與改編樂曲的工作，並以八十歲的高齡登場錄音。從第一軌聖桑《奧姆法爾的紡車》，懷爾德便以洗練的連續琶音營造出夢幻的氣息，隨著細碎愉悅的步伐行進至終。第二軌韓德爾《快樂的鐵匠》是大家耳熟能詳的小品，懷爾德採取的是輕靈躍的樂句處理方式，樂章中不時以強弱變化營造出愉悅的情緒。此外尚有蕭邦、拉赫瑪尼諾夫和莫札特等人的小品，堪稱橫跨所有樂派，可見選曲之匠心獨運。懷爾德之演奏，音粒個個飽滿圓潤，大師級的鋼琴小品，恐怕無出其右者了。（高登第）
