這套聿七張雷射唱片組成的「鍵盤音樂大全集」不僅是拜爾德音
樂的精華，也是英國早期音樂的重要音響文獻。拜爾德是英國的
重要作曲家，曾任皇室教堂音樂團榮譽管風琴師。他不僅是個對
位高手，而且在曲式和技巧上也經常有所創新，他的維吉那琴曲
尤為精彩。
唱片中共用了六種樂器，包括兩種管風琴和兩種維吉那琴，令人
印象最深刻的是繆塞拉的維吉那琴，音色奇妙而獨特。戴維特莫
羅奈是學識淵博、技藝精湛的早期音樂專家，他曾於一九八六年
和一九九一年分別獲得「留聲機」早期音樂獎和巴羅克樂獎。這
套典雅而又豐富多彩的唱片是早期鍵盤音樂可可多得的精品。
