Artist Frank Augustyn sheds new light on some classic ballets by discussing them with some great ballet stars. Don Quixote, based on Cervantes's novel about an old knight who dreams of chivalry and tilts at windmills, was produced chiefly to introduce Spanish dances. La Bayadere is based on an ancient Indian poem, Sakuntala, the story concerns Nikia's love for Solor, who loves her in return, and Solor's obligation to wed Gamzatti.
