摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 真正改變當代聽眾和作曲家對長號的觀感的，是林德堡這個人。一九八二年由BIS出了他第一張專輯，也可以說是唱片史第一張長號的CD（那時的CD才問世沒幾年）。他的這張「長號巨匠」(Virtuoso Thombone)以林姆斯基高沙可夫的《大黃蜂飛行》為開場，可以說神乎其技，用英武的長號奏出凶猛的「大黃蜂」形象，立刻就博得滿堂彩。其他如《查達斯舞曲》、《愛之戀》、《風鈴草變奏曲》和幾首二十世紀南斯拉夫的蘇雷克，德國的辛德密特和義大利的貝里歐等人的長號作品，都有十分精采的演出。(許雙亮)
