Mitridate, King of Pontus, comes back from fighting the Romans to find that both his sons have fallen in love with his fiancee, Aspasia, who loves Sifare in return. He is determined to revenge himself on the three for their disloyalty. 邦都國王米特里達特自戰場歸來後得知兒子愛上他的未婚妻, 國王決定報復, 以懲罰他們的不忠.
