舞曲是最大眾，也最能引起共鳴的音樂之一，因此，許多作曲
家都會在作品裡加上迷人舞曲，這一張專輯就是收錄古典音樂
裡最著名的舞曲，如：韋伯《邀舞》、白遼士《浮士德的天譴
》裡的兩首舞曲、李斯特《梅菲斯特圓舞曲》、鮑羅定歌劇《
伊果王子》的舞曲、史麥塔納歌劇《交易新娘》三首可愛的舞
曲、威爾第《奧泰羅》芭蕾音樂。當然，一定會有龐開利著名
的〈時間之舞〉。選曲傑出之外，卡拉揚與柏林愛樂令人難以
信的細膩詮釋與音色更為這些美麗的曲子增色不少。
