摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 大概很少錄音能如本輯一般，收錄了二十七首風格幾近統一的樂曲(其中二首還輯錄八首樂曲旋律。)。更具歷史意義的是，這些樂曲係以一台一九一二年史坦威直立式鋼琴—自動鋼琴(Player Piano)—所演奏錄音的。這類機械樂器在史上還頗有一席之地，試想在沒有留聲機、收音機之年代，能擁有一台自動播出音樂的機器的虛榮感。自動鋼琴自一九二九年因留聲機、收音機崛起而瀕臨絕跡。本輯以樂曲紀錄紙捲配合機械驅動配置，完美的重現二零年代Swing之風，當屬值得收藏的考古之作。(李俊昌)
