皇帝的慈悲與莫札特：幼年的莫札特無疑已是一個音樂天才。在1767及68年創作了3部歌劇作品，從這 些早期的作品我們感受到他那閃閃發光而成熟的音樂才能。緊接這些歌劇就是「皇帝的慈悲」，一部1770年所作的正歌劇，從這部作品，世人便可得知莫札特在正歌劇上也具有驚人的寫作才能。
摘要註
Mitridate, King of Pontus, comes back from fighting the Romans to find that both his sons have fallen in love with his own fiancee, Aspasia, who loves Sifare in return. He is determined to revenge himself on the three for their disloyalty.
