假聲男高音融合了女性溫柔細膩的音色以及男性豐厚雄渾的共鳴，產生了一種混合男女音域的悅耳聲音，米良美一他那種超乎音域藩籬的美聲。自1994年起屢次獲得音樂大賽的殊榮，從他的歌唱中找不出任何矯揉造做的氣味，只有宛若天籟的清麗之聲。可說是近年來在假聲男高音中表現最傑出亮眼的一位。
在1997年時米良美一主唱了宮崎駿卡通電影【魔法公主】的主題曲，使他的知名度暴增，並且縱橫流行與古典音樂界。本張精選集收錄了他在瑞典BIS公司錄音中最優秀的作品，包括開場曲電影【魔法公主】的主題曲及統一瑞穗鮮乳廣告配樂【紅蜻蜓】等。都是相當受到大家喜愛的歌曲。現在能在同一張專輯中聽到米良美一所有精采的作品，真是樂迷的一大福音。
