本片以大提琴改編來拉奏他的鋼琴曲可說是非常的少有及少聽見，這大都歸功於一位蘇聯的大提琴家”大衛朵夫Carl Davidov”1838-1889，他將大提琴音樂改編蕭邦的名曲，使蕭邦的鋼琴曲再有了另一生命。而本片的演奏家”彼耶特Pieter Wispelwey”，大提琴演奏家，從小在荷蘭與多位大師習音樂，並曾到美國習樂，他的特別是能拉奏古巴洛克大提琴及現代的大提琴二種樂器，他的拉奏音樂感極佳，音樂性十足，又有音響性高超技巧，拉奏的曲目包括由巴洛克時期的巴哈到現代樂的舒尼特克，卡特及更現代的音樂曲，他曾得過伊利沙白大獎及1985和1992年荷蘭音樂大獎，他的無伴奏大提琴的巴哈及貝多芬大提琴及布拉姆斯等都有獨特的拉奏成熟詮釋，本片他也改編了一些蕭邦的鋼琴曲和大衛朵夫的一齊呈現給樂友，有華爾姿舞曲，前奏曲，馬厝卡等鋼琴曲。
