彼耶特，威斯佩衛Pleter Wispelwey，大提琴演奏家，從小在荷蘭與多位大師習音樂，並曾到美國習樂，他的特別是能拉奏古巴洛克大提琴及現代的大提琴二種樂器，他的拉奏音樂感佳，音樂性十足，又有音響性高超技巧，拉奏的曲目包括由巴洛克時期的巴哈到現代樂的舒尼特克，卡特及更現代的音樂曲，他曾得過伊利沙白大獎及1985和1992年荷蘭音樂大獎，他的無伴奏大提琴的巴哈及貝多芬大提琴及布拉姆斯等有獨特的拉奏成詮釋，本片他演奏聖賞大提琴協奏曲，真是音樂大提琴的經典好聽名曲，另加柴可夫斯基的如歌似的行板，洛可可變奏曲，均是大提琴的精彩好樂曲，配上相爌的大提琴又充滿熱情聲音，彼耶特的拉奏可說是優秀不得了，低弦沉穩而厚實，錄音的效果及詮釋，直達發燒級的參考片！
