摘自 博客來網路書店 網站 : 提到舒伯特，一般人最先想到的不外乎是歌曲集、交響曲、室內樂，除了是音樂廳的常見曲目，也是許多音樂家錄音時的首選，相較之下他為舞台戲劇所寫的音樂在流傳度上便弱了許多。1811年還是個13歲少年的舒伯特卻已經開始創作歌劇，多少也是因為受教於薩里耶利門下進而點燃他對舞台音樂的熱情。靠歌劇攣生兄弟(Die Zwillingsbrüder)獲得好評的舒伯特雖然嚐到成功的滋味，但之後他的歌劇卻開始逐漸退燒，甚至是在他1828年過世多年之後，仍然有許多歌劇作品沒有上演機會，也鮮少出現在節目單上。除了少數例外，這些附屬於歌劇的序曲即便當中有許多令人耳目一新的音樂元素，比起其他交響式作品更具備引人入勝的戲劇個性，卻也不免落得慘遭世人遺忘的相似窘境。
捷克指揮 Christian Benda班達長期耕耘於東歐樂壇，舉凡捷克交響、波蘭國家歌劇院、布達佩斯音樂會管弦樂團以及莫斯科炫技獨奏家團，都有合作紀錄，此外他的足跡也遍及遠東，擔任上海愛樂的客席指揮。擅長演出古典時期作品，如舒伯特及羅西尼管弦樂作品。
