摘自 佳佳唱片 網站 : 沒有約翰‧威廉斯，世界電影音樂歷史肯定得大幅度改寫。他的配樂以動人的主題、多變的氣氛與聲音效果，還有豐富的感染力吸引影迷與愛樂者，總計得過五座奧斯卡、五座艾美獎、四座金球獎與二十五項葛萊美獎的肯定。除此之外，約翰‧威廉斯還寫有多部管弦樂曲與室內樂，並且把個人最具代表性的電影配樂重新配器為各種編制。
2021年十月，柏林愛樂邀請這位年近九十歲，卻依然活躍的好萊塢傳奇人物合作一系列作品音樂會，由全球最傑出的樂團演奏約翰‧威廉斯的代表性作品，像是為1984年洛杉磯奧運而寫的《奧林匹克主題信號曲》、未來主義的《第三類接觸》電影配樂選粹，到〈嘿美的主題〉等來自《哈利波特》系列電影的奇幻旋律，還有《侏羅紀公園》、《超人》、《聖戰奇兵》、《法櫃奇兵》到《星際大戰》系列⋯⋯每個人都能找到自己喜愛的音樂。
《滾石》雜誌在音樂會後寫道「約翰‧威廉斯不缺電影，是電影需要他」；德國《每日鏡報》則把這次的演出稱為「絕佳的夜晚之一」。
