Abstract

This album pays tribute to composers for the silver screen with a selection of pieces for piano solo, and with orchestra, most in their original versions. Includes music by Michel Legrand, John Williams, Philippe Sarde, Ennio Morricone and Philip Glass. 法國鋼琴家薩洛與電影音樂的關係其實很深也很廣，他不只是演奏電影配樂，過去也曾在導演麥可漢內克（Michael Haneke）榮獲2012坎城影展最佳影片金棕櫚獎、2013金球獎最佳外語片以及2013奧斯卡最佳外語片的作品《愛‧慕》當中客串鋼琴學生，以及演奏電影中所使用到的古典鋼琴曲。 這次薩洛帶來最新專輯《難忘的電影配樂曲集》當中，他嚴選了來自法國、義大利、美國、日本、波蘭、羅馬尼亞和黎巴嫩等19個國家，總計約為50首的電影配樂收錄在專輯中。其中包括電影配樂大師： 米榭．勒格杭、約翰‧威廉斯、顏尼歐‧莫利克奈、尼諾‧羅塔、菲利浦‧葛拉斯等人的作品。 正如同薩洛所說的：「這張專輯是以精選的鋼琴與管弦樂曲團的協奏曲以及鋼琴獨奏曲為主，來向這些電影配樂作曲家致敬，其中大部分演奏的都是原始版本，在此創造出一個沒有電影畫面的聲音世界，整個錄音計畫都讓人很興奮！」而專輯中邀請來與薩洛一起合作的音樂家也都是明星等級的，例如：指揮家帕帕諾帶領聖西西莉亞國家音樂院管弦樂團、法國知名歌手凡妮莎．帕拉迪絲與卡麥莉亞‧裘丹娜，以及女高音莎賓‧黛薇兒、單簧管家米榭．波塔爾，小提琴家涅曼亞．拉杜洛維奇等人。
