摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 卡佩爾在十幾歲時就已經在演奏舞台上十分活躍，他的演奏以明顯的個人氣質以及優秀的演奏技巧取勝，對於作品的掌握獨到，因此在廿幾歲的年紀，就已經是美國家喻戶曉的年輕鋼琴家。這張錄音選錄了他在一九四五到四九年間為當時的RCA唱片公司錄製的兩首拿手曲目。這裡的兩首俄國鋼琴協奏曲作品，在卡佩爾這位美國演奏家優異的音樂感以及具權威性的演奏詮釋之下，音樂散發出一股自由瀟灑落落大方的氣度。(楊沛仁)
