摘自 音樂時代-唱片購買指南 : 演奏者是和作曲者生前有多年合奏關係的搭檔。史氏曾經批評許多當時著名指揮家對他作品的錄音，只稱讚少數幾位指揮的處理方式，而這位克拉夫特先生更有史氏的背書保證「我作品最佳的指揮者…」。雖然這種說法有強烈的推銷色彩，不過倒可由這套錄音及作曲者自己指揮的紀錄，得知他所感覺的正確處理方式是什麼。(謝政翰)
