摘自 博客萊影音館 網站 - 1896年《波希米亞人》首演，沒有驚心動魄的情節，沒有偉大崇高的英雄人物，卻以親切動人的故事、美妙動聽的音樂，受到觀眾的喜愛。之後於英國、美國、德國．．．等各地上演，得到了瘋狂的成功，從而奠定了普契尼世界性的聲譽，也確立了歌劇大師的地位。《波希米亞人》有著專屬年輕時代，不受世俗牽絆的自由自在，也有令人動容的真愛死別悲劇情節。這是發生在一個理想主義的詩人魯道夫和縫紉女工咪咪之間的淒美故事。普契尼如畫的描繪出四位時運不濟的藝術家，年輕時代的樂觀不羈，和最後咪咪因病過世，畫下悲傷的句點。至今，《波西米亞人》仍是最受歡迎的歌劇，而魯道夫與咪咪也是歌唱家最鐘愛的角色。
摘要註
La Scala's production of the opera by Puccini. The relationships of two Bohemians and their sweethearts develop stormily until both couples separate. While the two men are lamenting their loneliness in their Paris attic, one of the women comes to them for help for the other who has consumption and wants to be taken back to her lover to die.
