• 一般註：From notes in container: Castelnuovo-Tedesco's second concerto is suffused with Hebrew themes and is subtitled "I Profeti" - "The Prophets." Although the three movements are named after prophets of the Old Testament the composer made it clear in a short analysis that the concerto is free of programmatic associations. He sought to represent "an evocation of times in the glorious past," suggesting "the flaming eloquence of the ancient prophets..." Program notes in English with German, French and Italian translations (23 p.) inserted in container.
