澳洲鋼琴巨星雷斯利．霍華，以浪漫風格展技，並兼顧音樂性與華彩著稱。他花了十四年時光，將李斯特所有鋼琴獨奏作品錄成94張CD，於1999年秋天全部完成。
這套全集曾經先後贏得六項唱片大獎，還讓雷斯利．霍華本人獲頒匈牙利文化勳章，英國皇室冊封榮銜，成為英國李斯特協會主席。
摘要註
Liszt wrote numerous transcriptions, paraphrases, fantasies, "reminiscences," and "illustrations" for the piano based on the operas of other composers. These range from bar-by-bar transcriptions to insightful new works. Some of Liszt's pieces are therefore considered to be arrangements and some are considered to be original works.
